High-Temperature, Solvent-Based, Semi-Permanent Mold Release Agent
REMOLD FRC 5509 is a high-temperature, clear, solvent-based, moisture-curing, semi-permanent mold release agent.
REMOLD FRC 5509 forms a stable, semi-permanent micro-thin film on applied surfaces at high temperatures, facilitating easy mold release.
It is designed to enable multiple releases of advanced composites, FRP polyester parts, and rotomolded parts without contaminant transfer or mold buildup.
REMOLD FRC 5509 is safe for releasing epoxy materials, polyesters, resins, thermoplastics, adhesives, and rotomolded plastics from molds and surfaces.

REMOLD FRC 5509 can be applied between 20-60°C. Fast drying.
REMOLD FRC 5509 creates a satin-matte finish when wiped or sprayed. Drying time between coats is 5 minutes.
Cured Thermal Stability ≤400°C.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
REMOLD FRC 5509 must be thoroughly mixed and homogenized before use.
Before using REMOLD FRC 5509, mold surfaces must be thoroughly cleaned and dried. All residue should be removed using OPTISOL PU 365.
Always apply REMOLD FRC 5509 in a well-ventilated area. Ensure dry air when spraying. An airless spray system is recommended for spraying.
REMOLD FRC 5509 can be applied to mold surfaces at room temperature up to 60°C by spraying, brushing, or wiping with a clean, lint-free cloth.
Wipe or spray REMOLD FRC 5509 onto the molds to create a thin, smooth, and wet film.
Apply 2 to 3 base coats initially, waiting 5 minutes between coats, to allow the solvent to evaporate and cure after application.
Allow the final coat to cure for 30 minutes at 22°C.
As the number of coats increases and the mold surface develops, maximum mold release will occur.
After several mold releases, condition the molds again with REMOLD FRC 5509.
REMOLD FRC 5509 is moisture sensitive; seal tightly when not in use. Always use the product in a well-ventilated area.
REMOLD FRC 5509 should be kept away from oxidizing agents and materials containing chlorine.
USE DOSAGE
Spray directly onto surfaces.
